Love

One of my favourite german street artists, Barbara. has written that "Hass ist krass. Liebe ist krasser", which can be translated as "Hate is crass. Love is even more".
This reflects one of the biggest dualities in the german society: If, on one hand there are growing references to hate (nazis, refugees, the police or Merkel are some of the main targets), on the other one there is also a sort of consistency on public expressions of love and to it's importance in most domains in our lives.
It is then not too surprising that an artist has recently started writing "Lieb Sein" (Be nice) in different places, but that will be a theme for another post soon to come.
