St Pauli

Thadenstraße
In Hamburg there's two main football clubs which, not too surprisingly, are rivals, even though HSV plays on the first division (Bundesliga) and Sankt Pauli on the second.

Next year the situation is very likely to change as HSV places 17th and it looks pretty hard to keep on the first division in what's left of the season. This means that both teams will meet again next season and the Hamburg derby will be there flaming emotions around the city.

About a kilometer away from where I live is the Millerntor Stadium, house of the Sankt Pauli which is more than just a normal football club.
Thadenstraße
Since the 80's that the club has started to be enganged in social and cultural projects and it is nowadays considered a socialist football club, continuously feeding an image which is closer to a living myth rather than what we often assume to be a normal football club.

If in the day of the games it is noticeable the increase of police forces around where I live, the streets reveal daily quite a predominance of stickers belonging to it and to it's different action fields.
Here are some first examples that I have got walking down Thadenstraße but I promiss some more in a near future.
