Inside/Outside

Another aspect that has been calling my attention on my walks around the city is the relation between inside and outside. How do the inhabitants from the appartments communicate with the apparently cold and distant society which populates the streets?
One of my favourites is this old jar graciously painted in pink where people are invited to put their cigarette buts on the main entrance of a building in Zeiseweg.

Sitting places are also some of the favourite places for people to leave their messages, which, sometimes are just a further explanation of something which appears to be pretty obvious at a first sight.

(The bench is broken! Please do not sit!)

Humour also plays a very important role on the whole communication process and, at least for me, is always an eye-catcher which messages seem to pass on a better and more effective way.
This one stands on a bench in Eggerdtstraße.

(Relaxing is ok, rubbish throwing is crap)
