Hamburg Elections / Thuringia scandal

On the 27 of October regional elections were hold in the german state of Thuringia. After three months of discussions, an agreement for a minority government has been reached between the Linke, SPD and the Grüne, in what is known as the red-red-green coalition.
Still, while voting for the president, something unexpected happened: the candidate of the FDP (Thomas Kemmerich), who has only got five seats in the parliament, was elected with the support of the AFD, the right-wing extremist part, breaking the sanitary cord agreed by all political parties on the non-collaboration with them.
The whole society was shaken and on the following day Kemmerich was invited to quit his presidency by the leader of his party Christian Lindner. The leader of the CDU has recently resigned after having warned her deputies not to vote on the FDP and not being listened to.
On the 23. Febrary there will be elections in Hamburg and the reaction to some of the outdoors around the city was already visible. Besides the normal painting of the candidate faces, there has been a special focus on Michael Kruse, who has congratulated Kremmich before condeming his acceptance of the collaboration of the AFD.
