Chemnitz/ Reaction to Nazis

After the previous post on the NSU trial, I am coming back with some more recent and worrying events: after a murder last weekend in the city of Chemnitz there was a sudden demonstration of right-extreme supporters which was barely controlled by the police and has been arising some important questions inside the german society: why and how is the right-extreme forces having such strength? To which extent are police officers and politicians also involved

Keep your environment clean!

Even though there can be quite some explanations and everyone seems to have a pretty clear opinion about it, I would like to focus on the amount of calls to reaction to the nazi/fascist phenomenon that you can find on the streets of Hamburg, city known for having a pretty strong left scene.
Between creative, even humourous and more active calls, you do find quite a collection around.

As a final note, just came across the information that the football game between Hamburg SV and Dresden scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, has just been cancelled as the police from Saxony has been called to Chemnitz and safety in Dresden can not be assured.
