One of the most fascinating things that you come across while walking in the streets of Hamburg is the amount of "beings" that you come across. They can resemble humans or have complete imaginary forms. Some of them you can find a bit all over, representing the work of a specific artist, like these two, which were previously drawn in paper and then glued in the wall:

Animals are also a major reference around, either they are adaptations of real ones (like the panda smoking the pipe or the cat) or completely new ones, transporting us to a world of fantasy and fiction:

Winklers Platz |
|
Sternbrücke |

Julius-Leber-Strasse |
Vegetable forms can also be found around:

Somehow I feel that they belong already to my life and I tend to see them as fellow citizens while walking around. And they do cheer up my day.
