By definition, the Antifa is
an autonomous, self-styled militant movement, (...) Tending to be anti-government and anti-capitalist, some, but not all, are anarchists, communists and socialists.
Their actions were quite visible in Hamburg during the G20 Summit provoking a feeling of street civil war, having even declared the
Sternschanze district "Police free area" for some hours.
The first of May is also another known moment where their actions become quite visible by the use of force against banks, shops belonging to major chains and, of course, the police.
Besides that, there is also a constant urban fight, focusing mainly on the right-wing movements such as the
PEGIDA and specially the nazis.
In Hamburg they are often connected to
FC St. Pauli, even though there is no official support from the club to their actions.

Also in Hamburg the right populists gather themselves every Monday. In order to stop this: | There are no rights for Nazi Propaganda |
